On Carrying a Camera

I read this post the other day about carrying a camera all the time. I dont know why I thought I was the only one that thought like that. He took the words out of my mouth. Especially with this: "...when I am driving around, such as when I am coming home from work, I will try to compose photos of what I am seeing out of my window in my mind."

As stated in that post: "It just seems as if I need to be in a certain mindset to specifically go out and make photographs." This is definitely true for me, however, you never know when that great candid shot comes along or something unexpected. I hate seeing a photo I want to take and all I have is my iPhone :(. I need to look into getting one of these: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/science/cuttingedge-camera-may-become-first-bionic-eye-887126.html

That's why my kids dont have as many pictures of them as one might think! I want to be in the father mindset when I'm with my kids, not the photographer mindset. I think it's good practice to constantly frame pictures in your "minds camera" weather you can snap that shot or not.
